Mainstreaming a Green Recovery Approach into CFUG (Community Forest User Group) plans and programs focuses on integrating environmental restoration, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods into community forest management. It promotes the restoration of degraded forest ecosystems while strengthening local governance and ensuring that forest-dependent communities benefit from green economic opportunities. By embedding climate-smart practices, biodiversity conservation, and sustainable resource use into CFUG planning, communities can recover from environmental and socio-economic shocks while building a more resilient and inclusive forest landscape for the future.
