Nepal’s economic and Local communities and rural women have been making significant contributions to the consolidation, integration and utilization of natural resources, which have been playing an important role in social progress and overall development. Although the conservation of natural resources of rural women in different parts of Nepal such as Himal, Pahad and Terai has made significant contributions, women in rural areas have not been able to access the resources.
Empowering women working in different parts of Nepal for the decisive and active role of women in management along with conservation and utilization of natural resources, respect for traditional knowledge based on natural resources of local community and rural women and responsibility for resource management is needed. It is necessary to bring together and organize women and women groups who have spent a long time amidst the natural resources to establish their rights.
On behalf of the Government of Nepal, rural women from Himal, Pahad and Terai who work in close proximity to forest, land and water are provided for in various policies and laws and as a result of discussions at various national, international and community levels. Recognizing the need to identify and mobilize rural women to work in community and water, forest and lands, there is a need to develop a collaborative building between rural women who belong to groups and those who do not.
As an organized organization, to be directly involved in the community, to inculcate in the community issues such as women’s rights over natural resources and collective responsibility, self-reliance, sustainable development.
In coordination with governmental and non-governmental organizations, including governmental and social justice organizations, who have been supporting the program to play a decisive role in the rights and management of natural resources of rural women living close to natural resources in rural areas.

To establish women’s access to natural resources by conserving and managing natural resources.
