The book launch event was held in May 22, 2023 at Baneshwor, Kathmandu in the joint collaboration of Women Rights and Resources Network (WRRN) and Federation of Community Forestry User Groups Nepal (FECOFUN).
The program was facilitated by Ms. Aarati Pathak and was chaired by Sita Khadka Neupane from WRRN. The chief guests present in the program were Bharati Pathak (Chairperson, FECOFUN), Birkha Bd. Shahi (General Secretary, FECOFUN), Ghanshyam Pandey (Chaiperson, GFN), Jograj Giri (Chairperson, AFFON). There was also the presence of International guests from RRI (Solange, Rose) and TF ( Augusta) in this event. There was presence of representatives from different organizations, committee members of FECOFUN, women leaders elected from CF at local level as guests.
The program was started formally by watering the plant. The official book launch was done by Ms. Bharati, Mrs. Sita, Ms. Solange, Ms. Augusta. As the book covered the success stories and journey of elected women leaders from CF the launch was also done from women who had contributed admist time in conservation sector and women empowerment.
